V is 4 weeks old!

Virginia is now 4weeks old and she has her 1month appointment this week. Over the weekend she met one of her great grandmothers (G-G-ma) and an uncle, who came to visit all the way from MN. She had a nice visit with them. So far she's met her G-G-ma and her great great aunt. Now she just needs to meet her great Grandma from SC. We are hoping for a visit in November if she can visit us. She's enjoyed meeting all of her relatives and looks forward to meeting more of them.

Vhas had 2 recent fantastic nights of sleep. She slept over 5 hours then woke to feed and get a fresh diaper and then slept another 3 hours two nights in a row over the weekend, Saturday and Sunday nights. This was so fantastic for mommy, daddy and Virginia. We hope this will continue. A family friend reccomended a book that made some suggestions about how often to feed during the day and it seems to have helped. :)

Virginia is growing like crazy and we can't wait to see what her length and weight are at her appointment. She's doing fantastic and is now smiling at us. She is such a cutie!! She's still a super happy baby and such a cuddler. She's just a doll!
